In meinen Ferien hatte ich ausgiebig Zeit zu zeichnen. Dabei habe ich mein eigenes Muster Shnek ganz neu entdeckt. Das hat mich dazu motiviert, den Stepout nochmals neu zu zeichnen. Er ist jetzt einfacher und auf's Wesentliche beschränkt und zeigt auch gleich verschiedene Möglichkeiten auf.
On my vacation I had a lot of time to tangle. That's how I discovered my own pattern Shnek again and decided to draw a new step-out for it. This one seems easier to me and is reduced to the essential of the pattern, so it can be built up to different variantions from that.
Wenn ich ein Tile als Meditation zeichne, bin ich immer froh um Muster, mit welchen sich alle Arten von Flächen füllen lassen. So habe ich Shnek zuerst als Fläche ausprobiert, hier im Bild rechts zu sehen (mit Trio und Tizzy). Danach habe ich es als mit allen Arten von Borten versucht, im Bild links zu sehen (kombiniert mit Tizzy). Hier also erstmal der Stepout für Shnek auf Flächen:
When I do a tile as a Meditation I am always glad to know patterns that easily can fill any open area. So I tried Shnek first on a wide area, as in the picture on the right side. (with Trio and Tizzy) Then I tried a few variations with Shnek as a border. So here is the stepout for Shnek to fill an area:
Dann hab ich Shnek in einer etwas runderen Form in der Art von Perlen gezeichnet und diese Reihe grösser werden lassen nach aussen. So lässt es sich z.B. toll in einem Zendala von der Mitte aus
verwenden.
Then I drew Shnek's shape a bit rounder, more like perls in a row getting bigger on the outside. This way it can be used very well from the center of a Zendala.
Dann habe ich entdeckt, dass sich mit dem gleichen Muster auch eine Art Knopf zeichnen lässt, den Shnek-Knot nenne ich das. ;-)
Then I discovered that with the same pattern one could draw a kind of knot, I call it Shnek-Knot ;-)
Und damit konnte ich gar nicht mehr aufhören, so dass diese Zendala auf Renaissance Papier noch entstanden ist, mein persönlicher Favorit.
And with that I couldn't stop anymore, so this Renaissance Zendala happened which is my personal favourit of the whole series.
Und natürlich kann man Shnek auch weiterhin im Kreis zeichnen, wie auf dem obersten Bild links zu sehen.
And of course Shnek can still be drawn in a circle too... (as in the first picture on the left) as shown in the original stepout
